2022: 20th Presidential Transition Panel
- Contributed to writing of the 20th Presidential Transition Panel White Paper as an appointed member of the committee.
2023: Presidential Special Committee on Coexistence with Immigrants
Contributed to writing of the Policy Recommendations as an appointed member of the committee.
Contributed to presenting the recommendations to the Korean President.

2019-2023: Advised regarding the establishment of the Global Korea Scholarship Alumni Association.

2011-2015: Organized five international workshops on topics including democracy, constitution, and liberal values for members of the parliament, lawyers, academics, and journalists.
2017: Designed and organized an international cultural festival with funding from Seoul Metropolitan government and in collaboration with the Korean National Assembly at the Assembly.
2015: Invited as a speaker to the National Assembly for a panel on overseas ballot.

Asia-Europe Foundation
2021: Solicited to write a chapter on evaluation in public diplomacy for Aisa-Europe Foundation’s ASEF Public Diplomacy Handbook.
2022: Offered training to public diplomacy practitioners from 20 countries.
Korean National Commission for UNESCO
2024: Commissioned to conduct research and publish reports.
2024: Compiling the best practices of partnership between UNESCO national commissions and civil society.
2024: Assembling the legal basis for UNESCO national commissions in different countries.
Academic Societies
Korean Public Diplomacy Association
2018-2020: Initiated the Korean Public Diplomacy Colloquium.
2020: Co-founded the Korean Public Diplomacy Association, which built on the colloquium.
2020-present: Served on the executive board.
2020-2023: Founded and served as the Inaugral Editor-in-Chief of the Korean Public Diplomacy Journal.
2022: Represented the Association as an invited speaker at the Jeju Forum panel entitled “Global Korean Public Diplomacy for Peace and Coexistence.”
International Studies Association (ISA)
2018-2024: Organized and chaired diplomacy-related panels, and presented ~20+ papers at the ISA Annual Convention, ISA Asia-Pacific, CEEISA-ISA, ISA Midwest conferences.
2020-2024: Served as an elected member of the ISA International Communication Section’s Executive Committee member including as the Section Chair, and Program Chair.
Non-Governmental Organizations
Germany-Korea Forum
2021-2023: Contracted to organize and lead 3 Korea-German Junior Forums in both countries on topics including but not limited to peace and conflict, immigration, women empowerment, ethics of AI. 150 Korean and German youth attended these forums.
2024: Helped establishment of a nonprofit organization, continuing the forum activities, as well as for networking between former participants.
Hope to the Future Association
- 2016-2024: Commissioned to train 200+ high school students in global governance issues, and policy analysis.
New Silk Road Institute
- 2019-2023: Commissioned to organize 8 international youth forums between China and Korea on Sustainable Development Goals topics. 400+ students from over 30 countries attended these forums.
Korean Artists Welfare Foundation
- 2016-2019: Commissioned to organize 6 youth forums on topics including but not limited to peaceful coexistence, immigration, intercultural competence, and women empowerment.
